The Picasso Micro Rig is constructed with a lightweight .024” heat-treated wire designed when a small profile is needed to draw strikes from finicky bass. This rig wont “wear you out” and can be easily thrown with a medium heavy casting or spinning rod. Recommended line 10-12 lb fluorocarbon. The kit includes five Picasso micro rig swimbait heads. Choice of 1/16oz - 1/0 Gamakatsu hooks or 1/8oz – 2/0 Gamakatsu hooks for rigging downsized plastic swimbaits. The micro size is ideal for use with forward- facing sonar when targeting suspended fish that are feeding on smaller baitfish. It also can be worked down a bank in place of spinnerbait, around docks, blowdowns, and other structure. The lightweight high-impact resistant plastic head and embedded nose swivel prevent line twists and also prevent the fish from leveraging itself off when hooked. Small willow blades are perfectly sized to provide flickering flash to attract the fish and reduce lift. Made in America.
